Nick is a 16 year-old tech wizard who recently raised $250,000 from a Hong Kong billionaire to fund Summly. This app automatically summarises content from online searches and has had over 130,000 downloads.

Jana Sievers

Senior Manager, madvertise

Jana, a mobile advertising expert, is responsible for building sustainable partnerships with strategic global suppliers, publishers, and app developers from the mobile internet area. Prior to madvertise, Jana worked at Advanced Marketing Consulting and the German Publishing House SevenOne Media.

Angela Knight

CEO, British Bankers' Assoc

Angela leads the British Bankers Association, the trade organization for the UK's banking and financial services sector. She served as a Conservative Party member of Parliament and as Economic Secretary to the Treasury. She holds several board positions.

Alexa Meade

Artist

Alexa’s pioneering artistic technique - shown in the Saatchi Gallery, London and worldwide - lies at the intersection of painting, photography, performance, and installation. Painting directly onto her subjects and then photographing them, Alexa blurs the line between reality and representation.

Nadeem is a partner and MD of Anthemis Group, a strategically-focused holding company building the leading "digitally native" diversified financial services group. With 20 years’ experience in financial services and IT, he has held strategic senior management roles in a wide range of businesses.

Mark Johnson

Author, Guardian columnist

Mark founded User Voice to offer policy-makers access to society’s marginalised voices. After an abusive childhood, jail, homelessness, and drug addition, Mark founded a successful tree surgery business, and authored Wasted, his best-selling autobiography.  He is a current Ashoka Fellow.

Francis Terry

Architect, The Three Classicists

Francis qualified as an architect in 1994 from Cambridge University and is now a partner in the firm founded by his father, Quinlan Terry. Francis regularly exhibits architectural drawings at the Royal Academy and is a keen amateur artist.

George Saumarez Smith

Architect, The Three Classicists

George studied at Winchester College and Edinburgh University, graduating with a First Class degree and a Diploma with Distinction in Architecture. A Director at ADAM Architecture, he currently works on new as well as historic properties. George won the 2006 RIBA Ibstock Downland Prize and was shortlisted for the Young Architect of the Year Award in 2011.

Sonia Medina

Africa Renewables Ltd.

Sonia is a partner and COO at Africa Renewables (AfriRen), a start-up dedicated to connecting Africa to the green energy economy by establishing high-quality, reliable and long-term sources of biomass supply from existing agro-industrial plantations in West Africa.

Dr. Riley Senft

Medical Resident

Riley is a medical resident at the University of Manitoba. Inspired by a succession of family and friends diagnosed with prostate cancer, Riley recently ran 6,600km across Canada to convince men to “Step Into Action” towards early detection.

Nirmalya Kumar

London Business School

Dr. Kumar is Professor of Marketing and Co-Director of Aditya Birla India Centre at London Business School. In 2011, he was awarded a place among the Thinkers50, the biannual listing of the top 50 management thinkers in the world.

James Lu

Baylor College of Medicine

James Lu is a MD/Ph.D. candidate at Baylor College of Medicine, Human Genome Sequencing Center in Houston, Texas and is visiting with the UCL Wellcome Trust Center for Neuroimaging.  His work focuses on next generation sequencing and human decision making.

Lynda Gratton

London Business School

Lynda is Professor of Management Practice. Ranked by the Times among the top 15 business thinkers globally and described by the FT as the management guru most likely to impact the future, Lynda has authored 6 books, most recently, The Shift.

Chris Coghlan

Founder, Grow Movement

Chris Coghlan founded Grow Movement, a non-profit that provides low-cost advice to small business entrepreneurs in Uganda through remote volunteer consultants in Africa and globally. Operations are expanding to Rwanda and Malawi later this year.

Rajal Pitroda

MBA 2013

Rajal is a Forte Foundation Fellow at London Business School. Before this, she founded a firm in LA to develop movie marketing campaigns. Rajal authored 'Starstuck', a novel based on her experiences working in Bollywood and published by Harper Collins in 2011.

Pancham Gajjar

Classical Bharatanatyam Dancer

Pancham is an Indian classical Bharatanatyam dancer, currently training under Krithika Rajagopalan at the Natya Dance Theatre USA. She began training 20 years ago in Kenya, and now performs at prestigious venues globally. Pancham is a MBA2013 candidate at London Business School.
